Let the Children Come
Allow the little children, and do not forbid them to come to me.
One day some grown ups were bringing their children to Jesus.
His friends tried to stop them. They thought Jesus was too busy and too important for children. Grown ups thought that back then too.
Jesus told them off. He said, let the little children come to me, and do not stop them.
Then he took the children in his arms and blessed them.
Jesus was never too busy for a child. He is still not. You do not have to be older, or quieter, or better behaved before you talk to him. You can talk to him tonight, exactly as you are.

Jesus, thank you that you are never too busy for me. Thank you that I can talk to you any time, just as I am. Amen.
