Treat Others Well
As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them.
Jesus gave us a rule so simple that a small child can use it.
Think about how you would like people to treat you. Then treat them that way.
You want to be included, so include people. You want to be believed, so tell the truth. You want somebody to be gentle when you make a mistake, so be gentle when they make one.
It works everywhere. In the playground, at the table, and with your brother or sister when nobody else is in the room.
If you are ever not sure what the kind thing would be, ask yourself what you would want, and then do that.
Something to talk about: Think of one person you found hard today. How would you want to be treated if you were them?
A prayer together
Jesus, help me treat other people the way I want to be treated. Help me remember your rule when it is hard. Amen.
