Wonderfully Made

There is nobody else exactly like you.

Not in your street. Not in your town. Not anywhere in the whole world.

Your fingers leave a mark that is only yours. Your laugh sounds like your laugh. The way you tell a story, the way you run, the things that make you cry, all of that is yours.

God did not make you by accident, and he did not make you in a hurry. He chose you carefully, the way an artist chooses a color.

On the days when you wish you were more like somebody else, this verse is worth remembering. God did not want another one of them. He wanted you.
