Lily’s Lost Rabbit
-
Lily's toy rabbit went missing at bedtime.
They looked under the bed.
They looked behind the sofa.
-
Lily's eyes went hot.
Shall we tell God about it, said Mum.
Lily said, God is busy.
-
Mum said God is never too busy for you.
So Lily told him about the rabbit,
and about how tight her chest felt.
-
They kept looking after that.
The rabbit was in the laundry basket.
But Lily says the best part
was not being the only one who knew.
